A local DPS official in Austin is currently being investigated for a child pornography situation that occurred at work. Sources have already said that the police are working closely with the DPS office to resolve the situation as quietly as possible. They have also said that the employee is not currently under arrest, but they are waiting on the outcome of the investigation.

Police have said that the DPS office has already submitted a company wide notice that all computers are to be used for work purposes only. Police have also refused to give information as to the name of the DPS employee.
