Austin Jail Release Lawyer

Early Thursday morning, a man was found dead in a parking lot of an East Austin Apartment Complex. Some witnesses have said that there was a fight sometime during the night where multiple gun shots were fired between the man and his brother, James Ancira Jr. Police have been investigating the shooting and arrested Ancira early today. He is officially being charged with murder in the first degree.

While at his bail hearing, the judge set bail at $1 million and set a trial date for later in the month. Police have also said that his sentence is punishable with life or between 5 and 99 years in a state facility.

Police have said that the individuals that they spoke with saw the fight break out and fled the scene when the gun shots started sounding off.
