Governor’s Mansion was Set Ablaze

June 17th, 2008 · No Comments

Last weekend, an arsonist set the governor’s mansion on fire according to the Texas State Troopers. There are normally supposed to be two state troopers on duty at any time during the night, but the night of the fire, there was only one trooper watching the house.

Police are still looking for the arsonist that set the building ablaze and are offering a $50,000 reward for anyone who can tell the police who the offender is. The Texas State Troopers Association is working hard to try and explain why the other trooper wasn’t on duty that night. They are also working to find and capture the person who did so much damage to the 152 year old home. Police are working to put together all the clues that they have and try to figure out who the person might be.

Police are also encouraging any who knows anything to come forward and let police know as soon as possible.
